igus featured a number of solutions for automation, including a running demonstration of its triflex robotic retraction system.
The robolink D modular robotic joint system was on display at Automate 2017.
Motion plastics specialist igus displayed a wide range of components and solutions for automation and robotics at Automate 2017, inducing a FANUC 6-axis robotic arm featuring the igus triflex RSE cable retraction system, and the lightweight yet rugged triflex R multi-axis cable carrier.
For lighter duty robotic applications, the cost-effective robolink D system offers a modular, customizable solution. The system is made up of self-lubricating joints and worm gears, run via stepper motor and available in three sizes.
