TigerStop offers its TigerRack positioning system for saws, iron workers, punches and brakes. The positioner, which may be used as a pusher system or as a stop gauge, features 0.008" (0.2 mm) accuracy.
"TigerRack offers a precision rack and pinion system with a high power AC servo motor in a cost effective package," said a company spokesperson. "With steel faceplates and metal ready options, it is an ideal positioning solution for individual work stations or full automated multi-line factories."
TigerRacks include standard interface hardware and fasteners so users can add grippers, sensors or face plates.
Available accessories include:
- The pneumatic flip away option allows the operator to manage the positioner from the controller, allowing for faster loading and unloading
- The pneumatic gripper holds tube or pipe securely at the foot of the positioner
- Three external brake calipers grip the positioner to the rail
- TigerRack can be upgraded with work order downloading and optimizing.
