New Trussville, AL, Office and Manufacturing Facility

Brasfield & Gorrie, a construction firm, announced the completion of construction for a new office and manufacturing facility in Trussville, AL. A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new facility was held. The $4.9 million project includes 35,000 sq. ft. of office and manufacturing space that will be occupied by System Controls Inc. and Electric Machine Control Inc. The new structure is expected to provide both companies with approximately 30 percent more space for manufacturing purposes.
System Controls, Inc., founded in 1964, designs, builds, and services electrical control and SCADA systems for machine or process control throughout the world. Industries include mining, petroleum and gas, automotive assembly, industrial baking and food processing plants. The control systems utilize the latest VFD, PLC and HMI technologies for the most demanding applications.
Electric Machine Control, Inc. is an industrial systems integrator and solutions provider specializing in drives and control systems in pulp and paper, metals, water/wastewater, material handling and general industrial applications. Its experience includes thirty plus years in engineering, specifying, designing, programming, software development, manufacturing and integrating numerous process control automation projects. These projects include everything from simple control panels, to stand-alone drive panels, to operator control desks, to HMI interfaces, to PLC automation, to custom communication drivers, to precision high speed coordinated drive and control systems.
