New Coolant Chillers for CNC Machining Industry

MP Systems has developed a new line of coolant chillers built specifically for the harsh environments of the CNC machining industry. They are designed for any machining applications where elevated coolant and machine tank temperatures may cause problems holding tight part tolerances.

"There is an assumption that only medical and aerospace manufacturers might need a chiller because they make such high precision parts," said Jill Taylor, MP Systems Business Development Manager. "Any parts that have the potential for heat-related expansion would benefit if they were machined with a chiller."

According to the company, the MP Systems chillers can be used with water or oil and both feature an open loop system, circulation pump and a large, quick-change filter. The models include a stand-alone chiller or one designed to be mounted to the top of an MP Systems high-pressure system.

"We build our product to help our customers with their processes. These chillers are very low maintenance," said Taylor. "There is no need to replace the compressor or add refrigerant throughout the life of the chiller. We also have a quick online questionnaire for customers to fill out so we can help them choose the correct chiller for their application."
