Forming Zinc-Coated Steel Fluids

IRMCO, a manufacturer of oil-free metal forming and tube bending lubricants, has introduced the IRMCO Fluids 313 series. According to the company, IRMCO Fluids 313 provide the levels of lubrications and die protection necessary when forming AHSS and UHSS steels, while still providing proper protection for zinc-coated surfaces of newer materials.

"IRMCO Fluids 313 series products provide the required die and part protection for your zinc coated substrates when stamping appliance, automotive or light industrial parts and are compatible with e-coat and powder paint finishing processes. The 313 series products are fully synthetic chemistries that are easily welded through and are easily cleaned in lower temperature pretreatment processes," said a company spokesperson.
