New 150-Watt LED Pedestal Magnetic Mount Work Light

Industrial lighting provider Larson Electronics has released its 150-watt LED pedestal mount work light with an inline transformer. "This magnetic mount work light produces 14,790 lumens of light capable of illuminating an area 18,000 sq. ft. in size," said a company spokesperson.

The BML-150LED-LV-50 includes an inline AC to DC transformer built for easy connection to standard 110-277 volts AC power sources. "Weatherproof, lightweight and suitable for wet areas, this LED-equipped fixture is mounted within an aluminum frame equipped with an adjustable handle and magnetic foot pads that provide simple set-up and easy carry transport," said the spokesperson. "Thirty CREE XLamp 5-watt LEDs producing 493 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with high purity optics to produce a well-focused 25° spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination."

The mounting pedestal on this unit is constructed of aluminum and designed to allow users to simply place the unit on any flat surface for stable deployment as a pedestal light. "This unit is equipped with four 200-lbs. grip magnetic feet. They provide a total of 800 lbs. of grip and allow operators to securely mount the unit to metallic surfaces such as tank walls or equipment as a temporary work area light," said the spokesperson. The light housing and handle are adjustable and can be moved vertically by loosening two thumb bolts located on either side. Included with this unit are 50' of cord and a straight blade plug designed to provide simple connection to standard wall outlets and ample length for easy placement in the workspace.

"The heavy-duty design and high power of these work lights make them suitable for a wide array of applications," said Rob Bresnahan of Larson Electronics. "They are suitable where a powerful, reliable and versatile mounting solution is needed."
