tk accelis Opens Facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan

tk accelis Materials Plus has opened a new facility in Grand Rapids, MI. This expansion strengthens regional support and builds on 95 years of supporting manufacturers.

This strategic investment enhances service across the Midwest, improving regional inventory availability, reducing lead times, and enabling faster turnaround on processing. The new 38,500-sq.-ft. facility reflects continued growth in Midwest manufacturing and the company's commitment to delivering more responsive, localized support.

Grand Rapids was home to one of the original locations for the company's Copper and Brass Sales legacy brand, making this a meaningful return to the market. Reestablishing a presence in west Michigan strengthens connections with long-standing customers while supporting continued regional growth.

Brian Diphius, CEO of tk accelis Materials Plus, said: "This investment is about being closer to our customers and better supporting how they operate day to day. Grand Rapids is an important market for us, and this facility allows us to respond faster and deliver the level of service our customers expect, building on the relationships we have developed over the past 95 years."

The facility will stock copper, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel, and will offer processing services such as sawing. By combining local inventory and processing capabilities, tk accelis Materials Plus is positioned to help customers streamline operations and scale with confidence, the company reported.

As the company reached its 95th year, the Grand Rapids facility represents the next chapter in its continued investment in customers, capabilities, and growth across North America, the company reported.
