Mid Atlantic Machinery Group has expanded its metal fabrication equipment offering with the addition of the Helion Handheld Laser Welder and Feeder. Available through distribution from Mid Atlantic Machinery, Southern States Machinery, and Northeast Machinery Sales, the Helion gives fabricators access to four functions in one unit: welding, cutting, weld seam cleaning, and remote cleaning, allowing operators to address several fabrication tasks using a single system.
Designed for ease-of-operation, the Helion offers flexibility when working with parts of different sizes and shapes for shops looking to expand their welding and finishing capabilities without adding separate machines for each task. Its compact, movable design allows operators to reposition the system throughout the shop, making it practical for use across work areas.
The Helion is available with laser power options of 1,500, 2,000 and 3,000 watts. The system operates on a 220-volt, single-phase power supply at 50 or 60 hertz, and is also available with dual wire feeds.
