Customers can opt for a lockable storage solution onsite or guaranteed inventory held in Suhner's warehouse for same day or next day shipping. Regardless, Suhner negotiates a price with the customer based on anticipated volume and makes sure that stock is always ready. Customers are invoiced monthly, but only for the abrasives they have used.
"That means if you expect to use 1,000 pieces based on SOPs and predicted needs over the course of the year, we will negotiate a price with you based on that," said a company spokeseprson. "However, if something changes and you only use 500, you will only be charged for those 500 pieces at the agreed upon piece price."
