Mahr Inc. Adds New Hires



Mahr Inc., a global manufacturer of precision measurement equipment used for dimensional metrology, has announced multiple new hires.

Hires include Regan Jones, Area Channel Manager for the Midwest, North Central and Western regions; Tucker Rae, District Sales Manager, Northeast Region; Jon Sojka, Mechanical Design Engineer; and Gail Esker and Tom Locke, who both join the company's Applications Engineering team.

Jones brings knowledge in business-to-business sales, OEM and distribution industry experience to Mahr. He will play a key role in implementing Mahr's national distribution strategy; manage and develop existing and new regional partners; and assist with national partners. He will also work closely with Mahr's sales leadership to further develop the distribution channel nationwide.

Rae joins Mahr from OptiPro, Inc., bringing an extensive understanding of the precision optics manufacturing and metrology space to the company. He will manage sales in upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania.

Sojka previously served as a product designer for Anvil International. Esker brings more than 16 years of applications engineering experience and joins Mahr from Brooks Utility Products. Locke joins Mahr from Jenoptik, where he worked for more than 15 years as an ASQ certified field service technician.

The company also recently combined its two Providence centers into one location to create larger demo and training areas and bring its team under one roof to enhance collaboration. The upgraded facility includes a new factory layout designed to optimize production processes, incorporating a reorganization of assembly areas to improve material flow along with the standardization of workspaces.
