UNITED GRINDING North America has appointed two new regional sales managers to further strengthen applications, service and sales support for the company's full array of cylindrical solutions. He has been employed by UNITED GRINDING since 2011, and prior to joining the company, Hilbert held positions with Professional Tool Grinding, Inc. (PTG), WALTER Grinders, Inc., and Riverside Tool and Carbide.

Smith also joins the team with extensive experience in the industrial manufacturing industry. He previously held positions with Bahmueller Technologies, Inc., PurePower Technologies, Continental Automotive, Siemens-Navistar and Bosch. His territory includes Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

"In their new roles, Hilbert and Smith help automotive and aerospace OEMs, as well as Tier 1 suppliers, bearing manufacturers, job shops, tool and die shops, moldmakers and other precision manufacturers acquire the best cylindrical solutions from the STUDER, SCHAUDT and MIKROSA product lines to meet their particular challenges," said a company spokesperson. "Furthermore, they ensure customers and distribution partners throughout their regions have the guidance, technology and training they need to succeed in today's competitive marketplace."
