Fortune offers a new compact cell featuring two Vturn-NP16 turning lathes along with a gantry robot, FANUC Oi-TF and 10.4" display + MGi as standard.

Vturn-NP16 features include:

• High-speed spindle: 6,000 RPM
• Higher power spindle: 7/10/15 HP (opt. 10/15/20 HP)
• Heavy-duty roller guides standard
• 12 tools (opt. 12 live tools)
• Coolant flush on Z-axis cover as standard
• Inverter hydraulic tank reduces the temperature rise
• C-axis available with milling turret
• Fully enclosed splash guarding.

  With a gantry robot features include:

• Mounted on machine base composes a compact cell
• Heavier parts [> 6.6 lbs.] can be loaded
• Two robots for two lathes increase production for parts with short cutting times
• Part changeover time is 15 seconds (including door open/close time).
