Engine Lathe for Small Parts



The #9684510 12" x 36" engine lathe from Palmgren is designed for turning small metal parts, making it suited for prototype shops, home machinists, jewelry manufacturing, tool rooms and fabrication and maintenance shops.

Offering precision, power and versatility, the 12" x 36" engine lathe from Palmgren is designed for a wide range of turning operations normally found in much larger machines, the company reported.

Its heavy cast construction, smooth power transmission with helical gears are engineered to provide years of trouble-free precision turning. Standard on the #9684510 lathe are 3- and 4-jaw chucks, splash guards, chuck and tool post safety guards and inch and metric gears for threading. Like all Palmgren lathes, it is built and inspected to the DIN 8606 toolmakers precision lathe standard.
