Grit Cutting Solutions Announces New Facility, Expanded Capabilities

Grit Cutting Solutions, provider of CNC waterjet precision cutting services for a range of materials including metal, glass, ceramic, stone, wood, rubber, plastics and composites, has announced a new facility and added capabilities.

The company was founded by brothers Danny and Chris Wehunt in 2022 to provide laser cutting, etching and engraving services for local and national clients, from prototyping to large-quantity production. Formerly located at 1075 Depot Drive, Grit Cutting Solutions has moved into a larger 10,000 sq. ft. facility at 766 Depot Drive in Ogden, UT, to better serve clients. The facility will soon house additional machinery that will increase the company's scope of work with the addition of a new cutting machine and press brake, and will also serve as the headquarters for the company's automotive lighting company, D&C Designs.

Co-owner Danny Wehunt said, "We are excited about our new facilities that will allow us to enlarge our in-house engineering and design capabilities. From the start, we have said that we wanted to be a company that can take any idea, no matter how large or small, and make it a reality. Currently, we work with individuals with a start-up idea as well as large national clients where we design, prototype and fabricate products, including high volume sheet metal."

Co-owner Chris Wehunt, added, "Though our waterjet company is fairly new to this area, we have highly trained operators with decades of hands-on experience in CNC systems and precision waterjet design cutting. We have the second largest CNC system operated waterjet cutting machine in the region and can work with very complex designs for industrial and automotive clients of any volume. If you have an idea and want to see a prototype, just give us a call."
