Precision Wire Shapes Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Precision Wire Shapes Inc., a provider of specialty shape wire profiles, has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Quality Management System, reflecting the company's long-term commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The independent assessment was completed by NQA, USA, a global accreditation service.

"We are 52 years strong, and still producing material for some of our first customers," said a company spokesperson. "Under current leadership, the business continues to diversify into many different industries, including security, architectural, construction, aerospace, medical, model railroad, firearms, jewelry, fasteners, bearings, agriculture and more."

"Our expertise is cold rolled and cold drawn custom shaped wire profiles in many different types and grades of alloy. We are extremely proud of our commitment to quality," said Precision's Chief Operating Officer Cheryl Woodman.

"Because our processes are continuous and formed under pressure, shapes can be formed with a minimum of handling, saving time, scrap, labor and our customer's money. We can hold tolerances that other methods cannot, and provide smooth, hard surfaces that would normally require additional machining," said the spokesperson.

Precision Wire Shapes Inc. works with both small and large companies. "Customers do not have to buy 8,000 lbs., but can order from 50 lbs. on up," said the spokesperson. "We can also provide inventory programs to always keep customers in stock and help them with forecasting, scheduling and maintaining targeted requirements."

"ISO certification drives us to continually move forward and communicate our dedication to excellence" said Woodman. "It is a symbol that is recognized and valued world-wide. Our customers benefit by receiving quality products that consistently meet or exceed their requirements, while internally we benefit from consistent processes that reduce waste, increase efficiency and promote safety."
