Power Automation has introduced its CNC control PA 9000 product series that provides machine tool builders a flexible product solution that meets the requirements of industry 4.0.
Openness, high-performance, easy programming and intuitive operation are just some of the features of the PA 9000 series. Using the EtherCAT interface, all components of the PA 9000 series can be connected easily. "The open EtherCAT interface provides machine tool builders freedom in the choice of components and this ensures the optimum equipment for their machine," said a company spokesperson.
The PA 9000 series includes the following components:
- PA 9000 Smart Touch Panel CNC: The PA 9000 Smart Touch Panel CNC comes with an 21.5" HD screen with multi-touch function, an integrated passively cooled industry PC with latest generation Turbo Boost CPU and a machine control panel with different options
- PA 9000 Micro CNC: The passively cooled PA 9000 Micro CNC is suitable for compact machines and for use in cabinets
- PA ETC Drives Midi/Maxi and Micro: The PA ETC Drives offer outstanding control properties and are available in different performance levels
- PAP Motors: Matching the PA ETC Drives, the PA 9000 series includes PAP Motors with servo properties and high power density
- PASIO: PASIO is the acronym for Power Automation Slice I/O. The flexible EtherCAT I/Os can be combined with one another as required
- PA ETC-Engineer: The configuration tool for EtherCAT enables quick implementation of all PA 9000 components and third-party components.
