Keyence has released an all-in-one 3-D measurement and inspection package featuring enhanced laser profiling technology and image processing algorithms. "The new XG-X vision system makes 3-D set-up and programming easier with a new user interface and programmable encoder," said a company spokesperson. The XG-X combines high-resolution 3-D height images with high-speed processing, enabling inspection that cannot be done with conventional laser profiling or traditional 2-D imaging."
