Intech Services Announces 2016 Training Workshops

Intech Services, the sole distributor for Teflon industrial coatings to the U.S. and Canada, has announced that Intech’s Information Institute (I3) will be held at the Embassy Suites in Newark, DE, from September 27-29, 2016. This location is a 45 minute drive from the Philadelphia airport.

The I3 workshops were created to provide formal training to enhance the Teflon coating customer’s knowledge of the product, markets, sales process and application methods. Product, Markets and Sales Strategies for Teflon Coatings and VirtualPaint Liquid Spray Training are the two workshops that will be offered.

The Product, Markets and Sales Strategies for Teflon Coatings is an intensive 1-1/2 day seminar designed to provide attendees with a complete, comprehensive look at the Teflon product line. Attendees will gain insight about product selection criteria in order to make accurate product recommendations. An overview of the foundation of a sales process, as well as specific tools and processes effective in any coating facility, is also included in this seminar. “Whether new to the coatings industry or an experienced veteran, this workshop gives a wealth of valuable information for immediate use and teaches attendees how best to develop new coating business opportunities,” said a company spokesperson.

The VirtualPaint Liquid Spray Training, presented in conjunction with Iowa Waste Reduction Center at the University of Northern Iowa, is an interactive, one-day training program. It allows attendees to improve their spraying technique, film thickness and transfer efficiency in a virtual spray environment while eliminating any waste associated with spray application training. “Unlike conventional spray training courses, this hands-on program will allow attendees far greater opportunities to work on their application technique with almost limitless part geometries available to coat and immediate feedback on their techniques,” said the spokesperson.

Registration for the I3 workshops is open. Visit the Intech website to register or for more information.
