Monarch Lathes Names New President

Michael Tully

Monarch Lathes has named Michael Tully as President, succeeding Harry Camp, who is retiring.

Tully brings to his new assignment over 37 years of combined experience with Monarch Lathes and its predecessor, The Monarch Machine Tool Company. Throughout his career, he has worked in a number of positions with the company, from machinist to most recently as plant manager.

Matt Albrecht, whose family purchased the company in 2022, said, "We knew eventually replacing Harry would be critical as we moved forward, and we are pleased that Michael will be taking over the reins. As the company seamlessly transitions in its leadership role, I can say with confidence that its reputation of superior quality, precision, craftsmanship, as well as its commitment to uncompromising service and communications will not waver."

"These things that the industry has come to know and expect from Monarch Lathes will continue," Tully added, "and I look forward to helping meet our customers' machining needs and requirements in the future."
