HALTER Basic Pro Introduced

Halter CNC Automation has developed a loading robot equipped with high quality technical components, including an industrial FANUC robot, for the price of a cobot system, the company reported.
"Many metal processing companies have experimented with cobot solutions in recent years," said a company spokesperson. "Even though cobots have a favorable purchasing price, there are still some drawbacks. The lifetime of a cobot is relatively short and, although operating a cobot is relatively simple, the complaint is generally that the changeover for a new series is time-consuming and cumbersome. Moreover, the level of safety is often a concern, as this depends on the application for which the cobot is used."
The spokesperson continued, "Halter CNC Automation has more than 1,000 loading robot installations worldwide. All of this knowledge and technology has now also been implemented in the HALTER Basic Pro. By working closely with partners and suppliers, Halter has succeeded in bringing high-quality technology to the market at a very attractive price with the HALTER Basic Pro. Moreover, with the user-friendly HALTER SmartControl, the changeover time is only 5 minutes, even for workpieces that have not been produced before."
