30 Swing CNC Precision Lathe

Kent Industrial has added to its CNC precision teach lathes series. The new 30" Swing CAC Series is powered by either FANUC or ACU-RITE and is available in 80" and 120" models.
Feature of the CAC-30 Series CNC precision lathe:
- Available with FANUC or ACU-RITE TURNPWR control
- 20 HP spindle motor
- Rigid Meehanite castings with extra ribbing
- Induction hardened and ground ways
- Gearbox with alloy steel gears that are hardened and ground
- Extra-large precision ground ballscrews
- 4" bore: 20-1,500 RPM range; MPG electronic handwheel (FANUC)
- 20-1,500 RPM range; MPG electronic handwheel (ACU-RITE TURNPWR)
- Manual and CNC mode conversational control (ACU-RITE TURNPWR)
- Auto lube system with metered check valves
- Swing over bed: 30"
- Swing over cross slide: 19.7"
- Distance between centers: 82.7"/122"
- Width of bed: 18".

With a generous 15" (380 mm) spindle bore, the lathe is suited for handling large oil country pipes.
Stability is provided with the combination of three V-ways and one flat bedway, all hardened and ground for durability. The V-shaped design, bolstered by slanted shapes at each end, offer firm support for the lathe body.
