Randy Tietz

CNC Solutions, a custom automation and robotics engineering company in south-central Wisconsin, has appointed its new President, Randy Tietz.

Tietz comes to CNC Solutions from Weir Minerals where he served most recently as Regional Managing Director (President) of the North American business operations. Prior to this role, he also served as the company's Regional Finance Director (CFO). Tietz brings over 20 years of manufacturing experience where he has focused on streamlining operations and enhancing efficiencies. His background includes managing several manufacturing companies ranging from $15 million to $600 million in high volume, engineered to order and low volume/high mix environments. He has worked within industrial (mining and construction) and consumer products sectors, including a long tenure at Briggs and Stratton Corporation. Complementing his manufacturing background, Tietz began his career in public accounting working for PricewaterhouseCoopers and also managed the Milwaukee practice of RGP, a global consulting firm in the finance and supply chain space. The new company president also holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and is a licensed certified public accountant.

Tietz said, "CNC Solutions has a storied history of providing unsurpassed returns for its customers via development of automated solutions in a wide variety of industries. My broad exposure to numerous industries and processes, underpinned by my financial background and focus on customer value and return on customer investment is a good complement to both the history and the strategic vision of CNC Solutions."
