Floor Type Horizontal Boring Mill

Nidec Machine Tool offers the MAF150R floor type horizontal boring mill capable of heavy machining high in the column and deep inside of large workpieces.
MAF150R features rigid construction for heavy duty machining. All main components are made of cast iron. Thermal displacement compensation enables higher accuracy. For increased rigidity, the X- and Y-axis utilize hydrostatic bearing guides and the Z- and W-axis hardened box slide way guides.
Z- and W-axis total stroke is 55" for access to large workpieces. Ram size is 15.7" and boring spindle diameter is 150 mm. The MAF150R features 40/50 HP and 2,445 Nm maximum torque. Spindle speed is 3,000 RPM. XYZ rapid traverse rates are 945 IPM, 787 IPM and 787 IPM.
