Measurement Supply Company, a provider of precision measurement instruments, announced the Grand Opening of its new Tampa, FL, headquarters and Measurement Technology Center on May 15.
If you are a quality control, manufacturing, design or R&D professional either from job shops to a major industry, attending this event will allow exposure to a large display of new measurement technology solutions under power and operational. "We are trying to bring the latest products to the Florida market as a way to expose new solutions to area companies firsthand, without having to travel to large shows in distant locations," said Chris Sudetic, President of Measurement Supply.
Measurement Supply will have on-hand, products and solution experts from industry leading precision measuring instrument suppliers, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM's), vision systems & microscopes, surface finish testers, roundness and contour testers, optical comparators, hardness testers, CMM probing systems, styli, modular work-holding fixtures, torque, speed and force testers, tool pre-setters, granite plates and stands, precision measuring hand tools and much more.
"In conjunction, we will host the West Florida "Concept | Manufacture | Inspect" Show at the grand opening event," said a company spokesperson. "With the combined efforts of Measurement Supply's Technology Partners we will include active demonstrations that show part development from initial idea conception using reverse engineering systems and 3D modeling tools including rapid prototyping machines. The process will then move on to integrated CAM solutions to generate machine tool path. Once the program is complete, actual parts will be machined live on a newly introduced 3-axis portable CNC machining center. When the machining process finishes, the parts then will undergo a multitude of inspection routines using a variety of instruments completing the entire manufacturing cycle."
The grand opening event will be held on May 15th from 10 AM - 7 PM. Food and refreshments will be served during the event to those in attendance. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day for registered attendees.
