Vibration Analyzer and Balancer

GTI Spindle Technology, Inc., a provider of foreign and domestic machine repair services, maintenance and machine optimization, has announced its updated iPad .

"Our iPad Vibration Analyzer is a full featured analyzer with added benefits that only an iPad based analyzer could have," said a company spokesperson. "The iPad allows instant sharing of data, all day battery life and an easy to use touch interface.

"Our product philosophy offers something radically different from traditional analyzers. We believe everyone should have access to vibration analyzers. It is a tool that aids companies in saving money, increasing productivity and safety and allows for scheduling of downtime. Our desire was to create a product accessible to everyone, no matter what their financial situation or technical expertise.

"Our unit is not a single purpose device, but an expandable system that can include balancing, machine certification, thermography, data trending, educational tools and everything else a regular iPad is equipped with.

"GTI now offers over 15 different applications that provide a wide range of services. All software purchased for the iPad Vibration Analyzer is owned by the customer and can be installed on an unlimited number of iPads with no yearly licensing or upgrade fees. VibePro 6.0 showcases this GTI difference. Our customers all received free upgrades. VibePro 6.0 is built from the ground up with routes and data trending in mind. The software continues to offer one-off readings like the original VibePro did, but now has a new interface for setting up routes and taking route readings. Additionally, data trending now goes beyond just vibration data. Temperature data is now trended for customers using the NODE THERMA. Having both temperature and vibration data gives customers a clearer picture of the health of their machines. Free updates, including new features, are added to the analyzer every few months.

"A unique part of the system is its modularity. Our app ecosystem enables customers to add new functionality to their device when needed for a nominal one time fee. It also enables GTI to create new apps that customers ask for. VibePlus is one of our new apps that was designed for those customers that have special needs. It launched with phase analysis and impact test. Our developer continues to enhance VibePlus with new features based on our customers' feedback."
