New Machine for Aluminum Machining



The new MAKA DC7 is a flexible high precision machine for aluminum machining with two 5-axis spindles and a rotary table for loading and unloading while machining. The MAKA DC7 has the capacity of 500 kg per side including pneumatic or hydraulic clamping. The machines can also be supplied with a 0 point clamping system.

There is a 20-position quick access tool system for each spindle and optional tool breakage protection. The control is a Siemens 840D solution line. There are four available working X-axis table dimensions of 1,200 mm, 1,600 mm, 2,000 mm or 2,400 mm with a Y-axis of 700 mm and a Z of 300 mm and rapid traverse of 60/60/60 m/min x/y/z, 10,000 degree/min (C/A). The C-axis has a 540 degree rotation, A-axis +/- 98 degree rotation. The machine can be supplied with water-cooled spindles of 7.5 kW or 12 kW with 24,000 RPM and HSK F63 tool mount or 6.5 kW water cooled spindle with 36,000 RPM and HSK E40 tool mount.
