Centrifuge Removes Ceramic Solids from Coolants without Paper Disposal

The Liqua Pac HS2 Clarification System is designed to remove fine solids from coolants or oils without the disposal issues related to paper filtration, According to Sanborn Technologies.

"Operating at up to 2,200 RPM, these centrifuges feature a heavy-duty removable plastic liner and produce a dry solids cake for easy disposal, dramatically reducing waste volumes," said a company spokesperson. "The Liqua Pac HS2 replaces less efficient centrifuges or paper bed filters and cartridges, which can become plugged with oil and solids."

All LiquaPac HS2 systems are available with a variety of options including pumps, tanks and corrosion resistant designs.

The LiquaPac HS2 is manufactured by Sanborn Technologies. The company offers a complete line of equipment specializing in cutting fluid recovery, dewatering and waste minimization via centrifuges and ultrafiltration membrane technology.
