The Picomig 220 and Picomig 225 multiprocess inverter welding machines are compact all-rounders.
EWM is expanding its welding machine series with the Picomig 220 and Picomig 225 models, designed for wire spool sizes of D200/5 kg and D300/15 kg respectively. The multiprocess inverter welding machines feature welding processes for pulsed MIG/MAG welding, standard MIG/MAG welding, as well as TIG and MMA welding. All necessary characteristics for steel, CrNi, aluminium, CuSi and flux-cored wires are included at no extra charge.
"The welding machines in EWM's Picomig family are easy to operate and allow users to get started right away without time-consuming training," said a company spokesperson. "They are even suitable for standard mains connections."
Due to their modern control and tailored accessories, the machines can be individually adapted to the relevant welding task at hand. The portable machines are intended for mobile welding applications but can also be quickly and easily mounted onto a trolley with various systems available for users to do so. The high efficiency of the inverter technology also ensures more energy-efficiency in operation while optimized ignition characteristics provide for the best welding results. This not only reduces the welding times, but it also helps users to lower their energy consumption and cut down CO2 emissions.
