New Port-Machining Software Module at SOUTH-TEC

The Edgecam computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) solution by Vero Software will be featured Oct. 27-29 at SOUTH-TEC, presented at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, NC. Attendees of SOUTH-TEC can learn more about Edgecam at booth 619, where demonstrations of the software's new and improved features will be presented.
"Edgecam 2015 R2, the latest release of Edgecam's manufacturing software, offers significant improvements in CAD and CAM functionality for milling, turning and wire EDM," said a company spokesperson. "Highlights include an upgrade to Edgecam's multi-spindle lathe set-up, a new port-machining module for its 5-axis cycle and an enhanced hole cycle that delivers significant time savings. Overall, Edgecam 2015 R2 offers about 50 items of new and enhanced functionality."
