New Data Collection and Visualization Software

Mettler-Toledo has introduced its Collect+ data collection and visualization software. "The software offers users a visual overview of their operations, taking complicated process data and making it easy to understand at a glance," said a company spokesperson.
Production scales and other equipment can be connected to a central data collection system that stores the data in real time for archiving and analysis. The integrated dashboard tool can show process trends over time, highlight deviations and gauge performance in views that can be customized for specific production areas or employees. "Collect+ can also export data to Microsoft Excel for integration into other reporting systems and distribute the information to anyone who needs it, no matter where they are in your facility," said the spokesperson.
Collect+ is designed for the following types of users:
- Quality managers to solve problems by identifying issues
- Production managers to see trends and optimize resources
- Maintenance managers to know at a glance whether equipment is working properly
- Procurement managers to see an overview of material and inventory levels.
"The software requires a matter of minutes to install and can be accessed from multiple PCs and on mobile devices," said the spokesperson. "It supports Windows operating systems, and there is no special server required. Nearly any device with data output can be connected. Millions of measurements can be stored due to an optimized data-collection engine."
