Drum Separators Separate Ferrous Parts from Abrasive Media

Eriez Magnetic Drum Separators provide separation of ferrous parts from abrasive media. Models are available in various sizes and strengths to match users' unique application requirements.

The complete line includes models in diameters from 12" to 36" (305 to 915 mm) and widths from 12" to 60" (305 to 1,525 mm). These units provide separation on volumes up to 25,600 cubic feet (725 cubic meters) per hour.

Rare Earth (RE) Drum Separators are designed for applications with high purity requirements. RE Drums are made with Erium 3000, a high quality rare earth permanent magnetic power source. "Erium 3000 develops magnetic fields up to 25 times stronger than conventional ceramic or alnico units, with no increase in size," said a company spokesperson.

Customer applications dictate the size, capacity and strength of the magnetic drum required. Eriez technicians are available to assist customers throughout the selection process.
