SMTCL, one of the world's largest machine tool builders, has appointed Hillary Machinery LLC distributor in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Hillary Machinery LLC will have on display SMTCL machines in its showroom in Tulsa, OK. Hillary has three sales engineers and three application engineers based in the Tulsa location.
SMTCL, with headquarters in China, manufactures vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, large boring mills, turning centers with up to 18 ft. capacity, vertical turning centers, pipe threading machines and 5-axis machining centers. The machines are designed in SMTCL's R&D Center in Germany and manufactured either in Germany or China.

An SMTCL VMC 1000B vertical machining center was demonstrated at the Oklahoma City Industrial and Tool Show recently. The machine's work envelope is X=40" x Y=24" x Z=25.5" and is equipped with a 10,000 RPM 20 HP spindle, 24 tool dual arm automatic tool changer with CAT 40 tools, coolant through spindle and a chip conveyor.
