Direct Nakamura Representation in N. CA, NV, OR and WA

(l-r) Richard Parenteau, Director of Application Development, and Michael Kaminski, Senior Applications Engineer (both from Methods Machine Tools). The AS-200 is one of the new Nakamura multitasking turning centers featured in Methods' new San Francisco Technology Center.

Methods Machine Tools, Inc. now directly represents Nakamura-Tome in the areas of Northern California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Methods has been the exclusive U.S. importer of Nakamura-Tome machines for over 30 years, providing customers with application, service and sales support, available locally throughout the nation.

"We now have an excellent, dedicated Methods sales and support system in place for our Nakamura customers," said Richard Parenteau, Director of Application Development, Methods Machine Tools, Inc. "Customers will appreciate that our Methods team is immediately available to provide experienced applications support, service and sales on Nakamura products." The expanded, direct Nakamura representation coincides with the recent openings of Methods' new California technology centers in San Francisco and Los Angeles, part of a continued West Coast expansion strategy. "With closer access and a greater level of service and support, we are fully committed to our customer base," said Fernando R. Garcia, West Coast General Manager, Methods Machine Tools, Inc.

A full line-up of Nakamura machines can be seen in Methods' San Francisco Technology Center, including the recently introduced AS-200 High Performance Multitasking Turning Center featuring a single spindle, single turret in a heavy-duty and compact machine.

"Nakamura-Tome is the premier multitasking turning center manufacturer, offering more than 20 twin-spindle machine configurations," said a company spokesperson. "From raw stock to complete parts in one set-up, Nakamura-Tome multitasking turning centers reduce cycle times and eliminate extra operations."
