Carbide End Mills for Titanium, Steel and Stainless Alloys

SUPERMILL, LLC, a designer and manufacturer of carbide end mills, has announced the XPV series for roughing or finishing of titanium and other difficult materials featuring a four-flute design with variable helix, variable pitch and progressive rake angles, full eccentric relief, sharp or radius corners and AlCrN coating.

The new XPVS series is designed for roughing or finishing steel and stainless alloys and offers the same features as the XPV.

"Both ultra performance series carbide end mills produce quieter and smoother cuts at increased speeds and feeds resulting in higher production rates," said a company spokesperson.

"In addition XPV and XPVS performance features allow for taking heavier cuts for less passes, shorter cycle times and offering greater tool life," said the spokesperson. Standard cutting diameters range from 1/8" to 1" and are available from stock.
