ACER Group offers its CNC Mini Bed-Mill with Fagor 8055i control.
Features of the ACER CNC Mini Bed-Mill include an E-mill head, 5 HP inverter and variable speed 0 - 3,650 RPM to maintain set speed. The machine can run in both three and single phase. The machine features HRC 52° hardened and ground way and table. The machine is offered in two models with table sizes of 10" x 50" and 10" x 54".
The Fagor 8055i CNC control features a full-color LCD display, 3D contouring capabilities and standard menus. "The control can run complex programs through CAD/CAM, G- and M-code and can run easy conversational programs with graphic help manual," said a company spokesperson. "Simply fill in the blanks with specifications and it is ready for operation."
The ACER CNC Mini Bed-Mill features large travels of 28" (32") x 20" x 21" (XYZ). It is designed to offer extra Y-travel for large parts and efficient machine set-up. Spindle center to column face is 24". Max spindle nose to table of 25.5" is intended to make machining taller parts easier. The machine is designed with 4,600 lbs. certified Meehanite casting. It is intended to provide stability and to be damping-free during heavy machining, according to the company.
The ACER CNC Mini Bed-Mill is designed to provide an easy transition from manual with handwheel to CNC operation.
