Integrated Cutting Solutions

Hypertherm will highlight its Built for Business platform at FABTECH 2013. Booth visitors will get a chance to meet with Hypertherm's cutting experts, see live cutting demonstrations, view cut samples and discuss the pros and cons of plasma, laser and waterjet cutting so they can choose the cutting method that is right for their particular application.

In addition, Hypertherm will introduce a new high-amperage Powermax air plasma and gouging system and display new Duramax brand torches, including a long-handled plasma torch designed for cutting skeletons, scrapping, dismantling and other similar jobs. The company will also demonstrate the newest enhancements to its lineup of CNCs, torch height controls and ProNest CAM software.

"Our goal is to provide show visitors with the information they need to confidently decide how to best address their cutting needs," said Reese Madden, Director of North American Marketing for Hypertherm. "We do this by providing in-booth consultations and educational sessions, and highlighting new technologies that may help visitors discover new and better ways of solving their cutting challenges."

Hypertherm will host 15 educational sessions in its in-booth Innovation Theater. These sessions will cover a range of cutting technologies and topics such as hole cutting, bevel cutting, consumable optimization and more. Hypertherm experts will present a number of presentations as part of FABTECH's official educational program. Those presentations include a process comparison between plasma and laser cutting, practical guidance for cutting beveled edges and the role nesting software plays in streamlining operations. Jim Colt will lead a comparative cutting tour on the show floor.
