Dallas Industries Names New Representative

Dallas Industries, a manufacturer of coil handling, press feeding and controls for the stamping industry, has announced that Hicks Machine Tool Co. of Memphis, TN, has been named to represent the company in the Southeast. Founded in 1945, Hicks represents a wide range of machine tool builders specializing in a variety of metalworking industry segments including stamping and fabricating. The firm will represent Dallas in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.

"We represent some of the most productive machine builders in the world, ensuring the fastest return on investment for our valued customers," said Hicks Machine Tool Owner, Smith Hayes. "We are a third generation, family-owned business, and cherish the relationships we've developed over the past 68 years. Adding Dallas Industries not only complements our line but will aid in building new relationships as well."

Dallas Industries' press feed and coil handling equipment includes servo feeds in a full range of sizes and capacities including space saving lines, air feed systems, pull-thru straighteners in addition to its powered units, both cradles and coil reels, and a wide selection of auxiliary accessories. DallaSmart ProfileSelect Controls put less stress on all the mechanics by providing a smooth motion and material feed, utilizing 100% of the press feed window. Other DallaSmart controls and systems include a networking, monitoring and analysis system for communicating to the plant floor while monitoring and analyzing equipment efficiencies and providing reports.
