Patti Engineering to Share Strategies for Modernizing Legacy Systems at MiA 2025

Patti Engineering Inc., a control system integration company with offices in Michigan, Texas and Indiana, recently announced that CEO and founder Sam Hoff will present on modernizing legacy control systems at the Manufacturing in America (MiA) 2025 event, Wednesday, September 10 at 2 PM at Ford Field in Detroit, MI. The seminar, titled, “Before you Throw Away, Consider an Upgrade,” takes place in the South Press Alcove of Ford Field.

In his seminar, Hoff will discuss effective controls upgrade strategies that revitalize a production line at a fraction of replacement cost. He will explain why periodic control system upgrades are critical for maintaining high-duty production lines, share best practices for their execution, and show how virtual commissioning tools like Siemens Process Sim can reduce downtime and risk.

“As industrial manufacturing continues to evolve, events like Manufacturing in America give us the opportunity to talk with manufacturers about how to obtain measurable results from new and existing solutions,” Hoff said. “Whether it’s modernizing legacy systems without disrupting operations, applying data analytics for process optimization and predictive maintenance, deploying automation strategies that reduce labor shortage stress, or improving the productivity and OEE of existing equipment, our goal is to help keep operations running smoothly today while building a strong foundation for future growth and innovation.”

Patti Engineering, a Siemens Solution Partner certified in Automation, Drives, SCADA and Digital Industry Software, brings deep, hands-on expertise to the event. Attendees can meet the Patti Engineering team at booth 302 to explore control systems integration and Industry 4.0 strategies.

Every year, MiA brings together thousands of professionals from across the manufacturing community to exchange ideas and explore the technologies shaping the industry’s future. The event features dozens of technical seminars and exhibits showcasing advances in automation, digitalization, robotics, vision systems, controls and drive technologies. Attendees will gain insight into the practical use of AI and data analytics for optimizing manufacturing operations, IT/OT convergence, automotive automation and new strategies for energy-efficient manufacturing.
