Airgas to Showcase Welding Productivity, Automation at FABTECH 2025
September 11, 2025Airgas, an Air Liquide company, will showcase its latest innovations and expertise at this year’s FABTECH 2025, from September 8-11 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, Booth B29015.
Airgas will feature an interactive experience showcasing the Unlocking the Hidden Cost of Welding (UHCW) proprietary program, a 5-step systematic approach to optimizing welding processes and enhancing productivity designed to help fabricators identify and reduce hidden costs, leading to significant savings and increased throughput. Interactive welding and analysis stations will allow attendees to personally experience and immediately quantify the efficiency gains from variable inputs such as weld wire selection, travel speed and ARCAL shielding gases. Hosted by Airgas Weld Process Specialists, these experts will be providing real-time data on deposition rates and cost per foot of weld.
Airgas is also a key supporter of this year’s 3M "Clash of the Grinders" competition. This event brings together welding students from across the country to compete in real-world metalworking challenges. Participants will showcase their grinding expertise using best-in-class 3M abrasive solutions, with a portion of the contest taking place at the Airgas booth on Monday morning.
