August 8: SW North America's Open House to Feature Live Demos of Optic Component CNC Machining

SW North America, a supplier of horizontal multi- and single-spindle CNC machining centers, automation and complete system solutions, announced its annual Open House will return to its North American headquarters, 30160 Lyon Industrial Court, New Hudson, MI 48165 on Friday, August 8, 2025.

 

Attendees will gain a firsthand look at the machining technologies and system solutions that support some of the most demanding industries, including firearms and defense, medical technology, automotive and electric vehicles, aerospace, as well as agriculture and construction, among others.

 

Highlights include the following:

·       Live machining demonstration featuring the BA 322i, a twin-spindle CNC machining center showcasing the creation of a firearm optic component, with OP10 and OP20 automated by an integrated robot cell and multipallet part elevator. This machine can run lights out up to 24 pallets worth of raw stock to finished workpieces.

·       Aerospace machining demonstration of the BA space3, machining a wing rig rib for aircraft, demonstrating capabilities in size, speed and stability.

·       Facility tours of the company’s 33,000 sq. ft. North American headquarters.

·       Lunch, live entertainment and a raffle/drawing.

·       Networking with SW North America’s engineers, executives and vendor partners.

·       Technology insights into SW North America’s multispindle machining, automation and self-sufficient production cells.

·       Special guests and speakers.
