In the wake of Hurricane Milton, FABTECH 2024 is moving forward with its plans to host the event from October 15-17 at the Orange County Convention Center. The quick recovery efforts in Orlando have ensured that the city, its venues and businesses are ready to welcome attendees safely, according to organizers.

 

FABTECH organizers have issued the following statement regarding the continuation of the event: “Our hearts go out to all those affected by Hurricane Milton. We offer our support to residents, communities and businesses as they begin the process of recovery and rebuilding. Despite the recent challenges of Hurricane Milton, Orlando is open for business, and FABTECH will proceed as planned from October 15-17 at the Orange County Convention Center. The city, venue, airport and hospitality community are fully operational and excited to welcome everyone to this important industry event. The safety and well-being of our attendees, exhibitors and staff remain our top priorities. We understand that the weather may have caused some uncertainty, but we’re committed to providing a safe and productive event experience. Our team has been working diligently to ensure that all aspects of FABTECH are prepared and ready to meet your expectations.”

 

Key Event Updates for FABTECH 2024

As FABTECH 2024 approaches, several key updates have been made to ensure a smooth event. Orlando’s infrastructure, including the convention center, airport and hospitality services, is fully operational. Below are the latest details to help attendees prepare for the event:

  • Event Schedule: All exhibits, conference sessions, and activities will take place as originally scheduled.
  • Venue: The Orange County Convention Center is fully operational and open as of October 11.
  • Travel and Accommodations: Orlando International Airport has resumed full operations on October 11. All local hotels are fully functional and ready to welcome you.
  • Restaurants and Attractions: All businesses, entertainment venues, theme parks, and attractions resumed normal operations on October 11.

FABTECH’s partner organizations are donating to support local relief efforts in response to Hurricanes Milton and Helene.
