Mitutoyo America Corporation Showcases Range of Products at IMTS

Mitutoyo America Corporation is showcasing its range of products at IMTS 2024 in Chicago from September 9-14, 2024, at McCormick Place Convention Center. Mitutoyo will be located in IMTS Booth #134117, East Building, Level 3.

Featured Products Include:

• MDE QuantuMike: The new Mitutoyo MDE QuantuMike delivers fast, highly accurate measurements on a thinner spindle. Utilizing a more course spindle thread, the new QuantuMike feeds the spindle by 2mm per revolution of the thimble, reducing approach time by about 60%. The coolant-proof ratchet thimble mechanism provides a constant measuring force for accurate measurements down to ±1μm.
• SM1008S Non-contact Sensor: The SM1008S laser-line smart sensor utilizes an innovative Mitutoyo optical system along with conventional sensor technology to perform 2D profile measurements and 3D dimensional inspections for various in-line inspection needs. The sensor’s on-board software features an array of measurement tools including height, width, volume, flatness, pattern matching, gap & flush, etc., along with features like Optical Character Recognition, barcode reading, and various defect detection tools, including blob and weld/glue bead inspection.
• ID-C, ID-F indicators: This new generation of Mitutoyo high-performance digital indicators make measurement operations smoother and enhance production quality. These are the first Mitutoyo indicators with new bi-directional serial communication that easily connects to a PC to dramatically improve work efficiency.
• STRATO Active 7106 CMM: The state-of-the-art Mitutoyo STRATO-Apex CNC CMM combines high-speed operation with highly accurate measurements in the 1µm class. An ultra-high precision crystallized glass scale with nearly zero thermal expansion is combined with a high-performance reflective linear encoder with a resolution of 2/100 µm for exceptional accuracy on each axis of the STRATO-Apex.
• PH-3515F Profile Projector: The PH-3515 is a bench-top model profile projector with horizontal optical system. It features touch screen M2 geometric measuring display with graphics-based “part view” constructions that generates popular construction types, like distances and tangent lines, from within the graphical part view. A Geometric Tolerancing Function measures features, sets nominals, applies tolerances, and views deviation results with only a few steps.
•  In-line LSM Series: The LSM-02/LSM-30 are new, innovative sensor technologies that deliver high-accuracy measurements in a variety of applications including outside diameters during in-line inspection. These new laser scan micrometers replace older displays and controllers with a software-based display on a computer and can be communicated with and controlled via a PLC.
•   LH-600F: Offers advanced performance for reliable, easy 2-D measurement and features accuracy of (1.1+0.6L/600) μm with 0.1μm/0.5μm resolution/repeatability. Perpendicularity of 5μm and straightness of 4μm are guaranteed. The pneumatic full/semi-floating system allows the LH-600F to maneuver easily around heavy parts. Basic statistical functions are provided; the RS-232C /USB data output provides the option of evaluating measurement data externally with SPC software on a PC.
