Centerline Engineering Orders New Coil Processing Line
May 1, 2018
COE Press Equipment announced that it has installed a new coil processing line at Centerline Engineering (Comstock Park, MI), a provider of metal stamping die design and build services. The line consists of a 72" COE servo roll feed, a 60" x 152" scissor lift table, a 5" x 72" HD-series heavy duty straightener and a 50,000-lb. x 72" coil reel.
Given the robust design of the heavy-duty straightener, the line is capable of processing a variety of material including cold rolled steel (CRS), advanced high strength steels (AHSS) and aluminum. The roll feed can achieve a speed of 296 ft/min with a feed accuracy of + 0.003". The line is paired with a new 2,500-ton Eagle press being used for die tryout.
In addition to the equipment, COE will also be providing installation, startup and technical training to Centerline.
