At booth C2744, the FUCHS team will feature synthetic, water-miscible and straight-oil lubricants designed to help automotive and industrial manufacturers protect tooling, improve part quality and address increasingly challenging production requirements.
As advanced high-strength steels and increasingly complex part designs create new forming challenges, lubricant selection plays an important role in process reliability. FUCHS offers a comprehensive portfolio of forming lubricants and technical support to help manufacturers address friction, tool wear, corrosion protection and compatibility with downstream processes. Three featured products will demonstrate solutions for a range of forming conditions.
ECO DRAW HVE1 is a water-miscible synthetic lubricant for light to heavy-duty metal forming, tested and approved by OEMs for parts entering body-in-white paint systems, per the Auto/Steel Partnership. Its lubricity and heat transfer properties help reduce tool wear, cracking and galling, including in advanced high-strength steel applications. The fluid provides in-process corrosion protection, is typically weldable without prior washing and produces no smoke during welding. It is also easily removed in most wash systems, often allowing reduced cleaner usage at lower temperatures.
RENOFORM OS 7802 is a chlorine-free, water-miscible lubricant for medium to heavy-duty applications, including severe drawing and stamping on ferrous substrates. Lubricity and extreme-pressure additives protect tooling and components under high friction and heat, while enhanced corrosion inhibitors support in-process and storage protection. Designed to resist microbial growth, the fluid supports longer sump life in recirculating systems and can replace many highly chlorinated products.
RENOFORM FB 6884 is a highly chlorinated straight-oil lubricant for heavy to extreme-duty forming, including high-severity fine blanking and punching on heavy-gauge steel. Its extreme-pressure performance enhances metal flow, extends tool life and produces smooth surface finishes. Boundary lubricity additives provide consistent tooling protection, while mid-range viscosity supports easier application and cleaner press operations. Enhanced corrosion inhibitors help prevent in-process corrosion and staining.
