Fastener Training Week in L.A. Features 5 Classes Across 3 Months
December 10, 2026The Fastener Training Institute (FTI) is excited to announce Fastener Training Week in Los Angeles. This Fastener Training Week session offers five days of training spread across August, November and December – providing a more flexible schedule.
“Many don’t realize our single-day Certified Fastener Specialist classes equal a Fastener Training Week – but they do!” said Jo Morris, FTI’s Managing Director. “It’s the perfect way to participate in Fastener Training Week without taking a full week off from work.”

Day 1: August 12, Fastener Specifications and Terminology
Day 2: August 13, Understanding the Bolted Joint
Day 3: November 11, Dimensional and Material Specifications
Day 4: November 12, Plating & Coating, Print Comprehension, Fastener Quality, and Intro to Fastener Failures
Day 5: December 10, Fastener Manufacturing Plant Tours
After completion and passing a final exam, students earn Certified Fastener Specialist designation.
