January 27: KAAST Machine Tools Announces Monthly Open Houses in 2023

KAAST Machine Tools is inviting current and potential customers to visit their 42,000-sq.-ft. U.S. Headquarters in Aldan, PA, just minutes from the Philadelphia International Airport, on the last Friday of each month, starting January 27, 2023.

More than a dozen machines will be running and feature hands-on demonstrations. Included in the machine demos are VMCs, lathes, saws, surface grinders, press brakes, plate and angle rollers, iron workers and several other machine tools.

Customers are encouraged to test out the machines to learn about their features and available options. KAAST will be demonstrating the power, speed and accuracy of their Bodor fiber lasers with 3 and 6 kW machines running. Existing customers will also be on site to discuss KAAST customer support and machine durability.

Incorporated in 2011, KAAST machines have been on the market for over a decade, and most are still running, according to a company spokesperson.

“As a newer brand to the market, we understand that customers want and need to see our set up and operation to feel comfortable investing in our equipment,” Operation Manager Ebony Goldsmith said.

The monthly Open House events will allow customers to do just that. With an eye toward the future, local trade school students are also invited to the events.

Goldsmith added, “So many young people don’t realize the diversity of careers [available] in the machine tool industry ... our Open Houses really open their eyes to the opportunities in the field.”
