SprutCAM America Launches Latest CAM Software

SprutCAM America, the official North American reseller of SprutCAM multi-axis CAM software, has released SprutCAM 12, the company's latest CAM software. SprutCAM is a multi-axis CAM system developed by SPRUT Technology. It is used for programming CNC equipment such as mills, lathes, wire EDM and other large- and small-scale CNC equipment.

SprutCAM 12 features numerous upgrades, including:

  • An all-new, more user-friendly interface
  • 2D CAD editor integrated into the model page
  • Product and Manufacturing Information (PMI) Import
  • Innovative Adaptive SC High-Speed Machining Operation
  • Painting Simulation
  • 5-Axis Tool Path Conversion, and more.

The company's SprutCAM12 Robot version, which is a single environment for the offline programming of industrial robots, is now available and allows milling with a robotic arm. Other features are available through an optional module that includes cladding, plasma, jet cutting, welding and sawing. SprutCAM Robot supports programming of many types of industrial robots including FANUC, Kuka, Staubli, Yaskawa Motoman, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Nachi, ABB and more.
