Hangsterfer's Laboratories, Inc. will be at WESTEC displaying information on its line of high performance metalworking fluids for aerospace, medical, automotive, electronic and other industries. The company will be introducing three new bio-based products: VS-315 Cleaning Solvent, VC-10 Cutting Oil and VEDM Dielectric Fluid.
Hangsterfer's VS-315 is a bio-based cleaning solvent that is non-toxic, non-hazardous and non-flammable. VS315 is derived from renewable resources which helps lower our dependency on petroleum oils. VS-315 is engineered to be 100% compatible with the company's vegetable-based cutting oils, allowing for zero discharge of solvents used for cleaning.
Hangsterfer's VC-10 is the newest in a long line of high performance bio-based cutting fluids. VC10 is a cutting oil designed to take process to levels never before achievable. Very low viscosity designed for high-pressure through-the-tool operations. It has a very high flash point, is non-toxic, low misting and low odor, the company said.
Hangsterfer's VEDM is the only bio-based dielectric fluid on the market, said the company. It is engineered to allow for maximum erosion rates, reduce residues and carbon formations and lower consumption. VEDM is non-toxic and non-irritating to the skin. VEDM has one of the highest flash points on the market (greater than 315-degrees F) and is VOC compliant, the company said.
