CCP Offers New TruLight Illumination System

      Certified Comparator Products (CCP) offers TruLight all-LED illumination on its new range optical comparators, the company said. CCP offers the following three all-LED light sources:

• A white LED TTL coaxial surface light that supplies a white brightfield to fully illuminate the image.

• A high-brightness monochromatic green LED profile light offers variable intensity.

• The Oblique (Dark Field), Ringlight provides eight white LEDs and six switch-selectable patterns with continuously variable intensity.

      "With variable intensities on each of the bright, all-LED illuminators, inspectors benefit by getting optimal imaging and better measurements on their comparator," said a CCP spokesperson. "TruLight LEDs are extremely bright and provide consistent performance. They will last the lifetime of the optical comparator, while consuming less energy."
