features a rotary axis, bulk abrasive feed system and a 40-HP direct drive pump.
"Ideal for short-run part production, prototype development and just-in-time manufacturing, the OMAX 2652 JetMachining Center is widely recognized as the workhorse amongst the company's wide array of innovative products and solutions," said a company spokesperson. "As one of two smaller-footprint abrasivejet machines produced by OMAX, the 2652 is well-known for its quick turnaround, providing general machine shops with efficient, precision machining without the hassle of tool changes or complex fixturing.
"The 2652 is capable of machining complex parts from pre-existing CAD drawings or .DXF files using a wide range of materials, including titanium and stainless steel. Additionally, the machining center completes most work below 80 dBA for submerged cutting, resulting in a satin smooth edge and reduced secondary operations."
